I have some rather sad news, everyone. I received a phone call on Friday from NOVA that said that the company had some sudden trouble (in the interest of being respectful to the company that hired me, I won’t post the details, but google nova group japan, news) and I won’t be leaving until at least October 16th. More to come as it develops, but I won’t be leaving this Tuesday.
[Update: Never fear, I WILL still be leaving. The problem that the company has is being worked on and they hope to have everything resolved soon. They told the new teachers that they don't want them to come until October as a precaution. They want to sort out their problem before they bring in anyone new. It's a very cautious move, but one that you can expect from a company that brings employees in from all over the world.]
