Riki-Oh by Masahiko Takajo & Tetsuya Saruwatari

this is sort of a cross between Fist of the North Star & Grappler Baki & Tough
basically a rock-hard, uber heroic guy, constantly fighting against huge, massive & super-evil bad guys, punching sections out of people’s bodies, through their heads, and god knows what else. you know the score!
its pretty entertaining despite being ridiculous, and very macho without being a bit gay like Baki is in places
if you like it i’l keep updating on it but here it is pretty much up to date.
AND COME ON AND WRITE SOME POSTS ALL YOU GUYS WHO’VE REGISTERED.
lets turn MU into the best manga blog/site on the net (isnt it already?)

bork: lots of martial arts mangas show half naked guys but most dont come across as homo-erotic. read baki son of ogre then tell me its not slightly gay! all those panels focusing on bloke’s muscles and overly drawn physiques.

It’s been the best for YEARS

lol. are you refering to RikiOh or Baki? im sure rikioh is harder!
hey can anyone think of any decent seinen yakuza related mangas? apart from ichi the killer & sanctuary, strain etc
i read one a couple years ago, but cant remember what it was called/what happened!
i need some new stuff to interest me soon. thats why need you guys to write some posts!

For some reason, Riki-oh just didn’t agree with me. I think that I was not in the mood for it or that the gore was too graphic.

i was gonna say its not gorey, but then i remembered the bit where the guy pulled out his own intestines and tried to strangle someone with them

Gave it a read last night and it reminds me pretty much of that hilarious classic “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures”
A question; is it the same Mangaka as Bio-meat?
(On that regard, it would be awesome if the people who upload manga posted the guy who wrote the story/ did the art.)
It’s pretty crude but a good read if you want to let your mind off for a while.

i usually put the names, but on this its on the cover – the first image ;)
