ok so a couple of things i was planning on putting up on this update, but didnt pan out:
one, MakaMaka has been licensed now and the scanlators (Lililicious) have took it off their site. i cant be bothered to look much further for it… i cant remember deleting it though hmmmmmm
and two, Cambrian (someone reccomended it) i think is maybe a bit too, erm, strong!? or maybe not i dunno!? its pretty much all sex which would be fine. but everyone’s growing things out of their bodies and killing/infecting people?!
anyway here you go with the rest…

This month’s claymore issue is badass. Who would have thought that they’d come up with something better than level ups. I kinda really feel bad for the guy who was eaten alive.

Great releases.
I guess Cambrian does a bit too much, although that kind of artwork is quite rare these days, i love it. Too bad the artist already dead.

Hey, I like the setting and the art in Mephisto and all – but PLEASE tell the guys who translate it to pick another typography!
I cannot bring myself to read more than one dialog in an entire chapter.
A nice set Helvetica Neue would do the trick. Also the Script they’re using is historically incorrect anyways.

i once read a manga where theyd used uber low quality scans and typeset it with arial font in paintbrush or something. it looked awful.
im bored
im going to have to start re-reading stuff. i follow too many manga now that i am beginning to forget plot points on eden, claymore etc…

I have to correct myself – only in chapter 01 there was a script typeface used, and it seems to be correct. (Karolinische Minuskeln)
But i guess you could wager readability against historical feel.
