Serenity 01 – Those Left Behind [rapidspread]
Again not a manga but a comic. But since I’m totally into Firefly/ Serenity at the moment, I couldn’t resist to share it. If you’re not familiar with it, its a bit like Cowboy Bebop with real people. Its just great (i.e. silence in space!! No tie-fighter-screams!). It was so creative, that it was too creative for the stupid people in charge, so it was cancelled after 11 aired and 14 produced episodes. Because of good DVD sales, a few years later a movie was made.
The comic is ok but the movie and especially the series are better of course.

—> Musashi defeated the Hozoin dude (with the spear), then Shishio Baiken (sickle-guy). Then he returned to Kyoto because he and Denshichiro Yoshioka (big strong guy) promised each other a rematch after a year. His younger (and more skilled) brother tries to kill Musashi before the match, but is killed by Musashi.
In the match, Musashi wins, obviously. To take revenge, the whole school of Yoshioka takes on Musashi outside of Kyoto but Musashi kills all seventy(!) of them. He got badly wounded and is now recovering but also imprisoned for his crime of killing all of the Yoshioka. Meanwhile Kojiro (deaf-guy) who eventually’ll become Musashis most famous opponent, is heading to I don’t know where.
@Silverado: Right now I’m on episode 11. hehe, I don’t have to explain you how gorram cool this whole thing is :D
I forgot: at mediafire, sometimes when the download won’t start, it helps to do a right-click and say “save file under…” (I don’t know the exact order in english windows, I hope you get what I mean).

I’m starting to loathe GANTZ. It all started so promising, and now? No end to mass-slaughter, even the new equipment and the super-super story twist resolve – all for nothing.
If it was a bit more like Battle Royale (1) once more, i might even start to feel terrified by this series again.
