and here is a Masamune Shirow binge for you… Ghost in The Shell 1, 1.5 & 2 – im not sure how the different ones relate to the animes/series…but fans of the amazing originak GiTS anime film (or OVA – whatever) will notice the general tone of the manga is much different. much less serious and less philosophical.
this is the only example i can think of where the anime surpasses the original manga… although im not a big anime watcher myself…

btw have you heard of the remake of dragonball z? its called dragonball kai and its done with new effects new technology and no fillers. more fast tracked so it should be great. i so the trailer on youtube i got goosebumps. problem i havent found the group who might be subbing it. any ideas?

ichi’s very different to homunculus though, i didnt enjoy the latter…
ichi was one of the first 10 or so seinen manga i read when i first got into the online manga scene
