yeah i know about Wild Adapter.
I was reading it at one stage, might still be lurking on my HD…Will check it out.
there was a big gap in the scanlation but now its bein done quick again.. its worth a look i think.
its got hints of yaoi-ness though. but not much more iirc.

I added ch. 02 and 03 of that but when I was ready I remembered that Hox uses mediafire, too xDD, so now we have two sources for this.

Thanks for all this new stuff. Does anyone know why Tough is released so slow? I remember reading this chapter as a raw years ago.
Also, has Shamo stopped? Where are all the great martial arts mangas?
No offense, but Veritas or Wolf Guy look like Shonen compared to Tough, Ichii or Shamo.

was just thinkin today why have the good martial arts manga stopped.
i think its cos SAS didnt have a translator for it for a while
not many series that are longer than a few volumes get a clean scanlation run, with no breaks from beginning to end.
but yeah a few of my favorite running series have dropped off the scanlations too like BotI and Sidooh.
whats the deal with shamo is it on a break?
veritas is keepin me entertained though. but wolf guy i agree is pretty lame, apart from the art.

Wow, you guys really are on a run. Vinland Saga and a new series from Nihei (I just noticed that Nihei switched his drawing style from mostly black tones to outlines and white.)
The chapter of Vinland Saga is called “End of the Prologue!?!” What the hell – how long does Makoto plan to draw this series, twenty years?
Awesome! It really will be a Saga. Well, then again they haven’t even been to Vinland yet.

Wow, Vinland Saga really is great. But like Krummbart said, if all this was the prolouge, then how long is the manga going to run? xD
edit: I included Gantz 297. Lets say its enough and start over with a new post for the next releases to come up, shall we?
edit2: Gantz is such a waste of panels. 296 “The meaning of finished”, yeah, as if anything was explained. They just keep crying and sobbing about old man. Same with 297: The vampires just walk away and on page 11 we see the gantz-man standing in the room. So hey, why not showing the exact. same. picture once again on the next side? Then he goes a bit mad… I recommend a wet ear poke, that always fixes him.

Well, given the fact just how close the Vinland Saga runs to the historical events and people we know of (the names of Sweyn [Forkbeard], his sons Harald and Canute [the Great], Thorkell [the Tall] or even Jomsvikings and a lot of others weren’t just invented, you know ) we might be in for a long, long read indeed.
Just don’t treat it as an absolutely accurate record of actual events…

Its true that with Canute as the main character, it would lead to a very very long manga. But even if the recent volumes didnt give him much screen-time, I think Thorfinn is the main character and with him we dont know where it is headed. At least we know that, accoring to the title, it must have something more to do with Vinland. And now that Askeladd is out of the way, maybe a new arc begins (with more focus on Thorfinn)? Hm.
But interesting, I thought that only Canute was a real person.
