   great i’m gonna check out some of these too
   i also love vampires :) but never really found any REALLY good mangas on the subject.. except blood alone.. (which is on here if people want moar vampir action) :)

   Not a big fan of Vampires. They’ve been fagged-up to hell ‘n’ back over the last few decades (Fuck you, Anne Rice, just… Fuck you. Twilight too, while we’re at it).

   HOWEVER!

   I have been wanting to read ‘Blood: The Last Vampire’, as I enjoyed the movie a great deal.

   “Battle Angel Alita: Last Order” also has vampires in it. While I’d recommend to read the story from the very beginning, one *could* only read BAA:LO vol. 08 and 09 for the vampire arc… Its a rather closed up flashback.

   Unfortunately i could not find the raw volumes for Rebirth 21+,so if any of the other authors can find it they are welcome to upload or if anyone else knows where we can find it just let us know.

   I was also thinking of uploading Trinity Blood but it seems the manga is shoujo,the anime definitely was not.

   @Anonymous: Twilight was indeed awful,vampires shinning in the sun,i hated that movie,but i did like the movie Interview with the Vampire and i also read the book Vampire Lestat,it was a decent read,i would recommend reading I am Legend,it does not feature the Dracula type of vampire but more the zombie/vampire,worldwide infestation,it’s way better than the movie was.

   @Mono: i have not read much of blood alone but from what i read i so far i agree,it is a great vampire manga,a must read for the vampire fans.

   vampires are creatures who live by sucking blood out of other beings in order to survive
   in essence they justify their (belief in their) right to live by killing humans very much like humans kill animals to survive
   humans don’t necessarily have to kill other humans in order to survive but they can justify this quite easily
   they have a level of superiority in terms of increased ability in comparison to humans however in order for them to maintain their (gay and frivolous) life style they have to resort to killing more sentient beings

   quite possibly vampires are probably an allegorical reference to certain humans who leech off the hard work and effort; the livelihood, well being and work output of other humans without giving anything of greater or equal value in return

    Indeed,it seems like volume 4 of Rebirth had a problem but i fixed it.

    About the RAWs for Rebirth,i could only find the raw for volume 21 but the link was already dead,oh well,you really don’t have any luck with this one,Phil.

    vampires seem to be loved by girls and yaoi-fans for some reason….
    need a decent seinen manga with hot vampire ladies in….:P~

    Well,i noticed that Hellsing has been uploaded over the years here,while it was an ongoing manga so i decided not to upload it,but if anyone wants me to upload all the volumes here just let me know :)

    About True blood,i heard of it but i never tried watching it,anyway since you mentioned tv-shows,i saw a trailer for a new vampire related tv-series that will premiere this autumn*probably*,i think it’s called Vampire Diaries,i hope it will be good.

    So Phil finally found the volumes :) jcafe came to the rescue.

    I added what is probably the most popular vampire manga:Hellsing…or is Vampire Knight more popular!!?? XD anyway Alucard is one of my favorite characters,got to love the madness :D

    I also fixed the problems for Dance in the Vampire Bund.

    And yes Phil,Vampire Wing is a very short manga but it is complete,as for Rebirth,i did not heard anything about its ending being near but i can’t say i looked that hard for info about its status either :)

    Ps – for rebirth, it’s the way the author is managing the power up which is feel is weak, compare to berserk for example.
    check vol 22-23 to find out.

    nice mono :) adding in this post all the other vampire manga that were uploaded on MU earlier is a good idea,if you want you can also add Blood Alone here too,as for the feature picture whatever is fine :)

    btw Kurozuka was quite entertaining,i remember it had some great fights,i also really liked the artwork.

    dont get me wrong though, this is an awesome post

    should we do a samurai themed one?! that would be even huuuger!
    vagabond, boti, basilisk, y+m, kyo, kenshin, errrr…. shigurui, lw&c, samurai executioner, samurai legend.
    most these manga been uploaded already and i bet the links are all still active……..

    A samurai post would be awesome,there are many great samurai manga and who does not love a samurai tale ? And also people seem to enjoy a post like this that has a certain theme,so the will probably like to see all the great samurai manga in one post.
    Also,if i remember correctly there is a post here dedicated to only horror manga,for those who maybe don’t know.

    Btw i really did not expect people to enjoy this post so much.Still,i am glad to see they did :) and thanks.
