At first it’s ike a mix of Emma and Bartender, but it also has a certain humor to it. Later on it gains a bit more of a darker side, mystery and stuff. Its sometimes a bit gothic and exaggerated but its not a shojo-manga.

Yeah, what to tell… its the real one.^^ Inspired by the bible, so nothing new you who know the bible in and out. Sadly the scans are a bit pixelated, because of the .jpg I suppose. Hm. This Yasuhiko Yoshikazu has other interesting mangas, about Joan d’Arc or Nero, I’ll have to chek them out, when I find the time.

With many thanks to a friend of mine, PrincePrancer, who browses all the secret and forever closed-up japanese sites for us, here are some data on how well our beloved manga-series are sold over there in Japan.
I’ll have to give you some relations so that the following numbers don’t seem too random to you:
One Piece is the uberseller in Japan, some tankoubons are sold over 1.000.000 times, sometimes 2.000.000(!). Bleach is in the game with ~700.000 copies each tankoubon.
That is no match for most of the seinen, of course. For a seinen-manga, 200.000 sold copies is a great success, 100.000-50.000 is totally ok. With GLO you can see that even with ~37.000 sold copies, you are still in the top 100, maybe at number 99, though.^^ (Damnit, why don’t they read more GLO in Japan!?!^^)
On another note: as you can see, the sales weeks are pretty random. Of course a manga sells the most copies in the first week, so this whole list is just a little glimpse at manga-sales.

-Updated.Added a new chapter of Ubel Blatt and a new manga: Bloody Monday,i have not read that much of it but it does looks kinda interesting so i uploaded all the chapters that are available in english-
Maybe Miura has found a new hobby or who knows what other games he became obsessed with or he is just to lazy to come up with dialogue too.Oh well,there are still many fans of his who say that even if the story is quite bad right now it does not matter since the art is some of the best in manga history.

I don’t think you can really call the story in Berserk ‘bad’ right now – it just isn’t going anywhere fast, whilst looking very pretty. And it doesn’t help that Miura keeps taking these ridiculous breaks – the next chapter is out at the end of SEPTEMBER for God’s sake!

The entire world has just completely changed, combining different realms and making these monsters completely visible and active in the human world. A repetetive revenge story would be boring.
You people wouldn’t be complaining if you were just catching up because you wouldn’t always be waiting for the next chapter.

I added the new chapters for Hatsukanezumi no Jikan,The world is mine and Until death do us part,also added a new manga,it only has only one chapter so far,it is called Coppelion,immediately after reading its summary i was convinced to start it right away and after i finished the 1st ch. i also decided to upload it here,can’t wait to read more of it.

Woohoo! Oyaji! Berserk! Vagabond, and now even The world is mine and – wtf is fourteen? It looks good, but I missed out on the earlier releases aswell.
Yes, Berserk definately has some of the most amazing art in Manga history (even more, if you consider how he started!) It’s absolutely great to look at – but storywise… I don’t know – I think he is preparing such and übersuperdupermega new storyarch that it’s just too much. He will never able to finish it this way before he is biting the dust. Maybe he takes so long for each release because he is teaching a group of new people to continue after he is gone??

About the charts,i like the idea of putting them here,it’s nice to see my favorite seinen are doing so good and also,even if i don’t read One Piece i am a fan of the anime so i guess it’s great that it is one of the most sold manga in Japan,i have been checking this charts from time to time and One Piece is probably one of the most sold manga in history,it is incredible how much it can sell :)

there are a few chapters of Holyland uploaded here,but from what i checked a while ago when i uploaded a few of its chapters it seems like only a few chapters are uploaded here,mostly random.The manga itself is good,while i did not read much of it,mostly read some random chapters i would think you will probably enjoy it and it is definitely worth uploading it here.
btw this post is quite full,i think we need a new one,i will probably make one tonight.

archer – i checked it out (holyland), wasnt too impressed. maybe i should read more than the first 2 volumes. the art didnt grip me either and the fight scenes seem a bit forced too….. oh well.
releases of good stuff have sorta dried up a bit this week. lets hope next is better.
and yeah make a new post for whatever you add next :)
