Yeah,the 1st Patlabor movie was awesome,it was directed by Mamoru Oshii,I have also seen the 1st Patlabor OVA and some of the tv series,it is definitely worth watching,especially for those who want to see something a bit more different in the mecha genre.

Added new Mononoke and Dogs. I don't know with those two, are they good or lame? xD
And I thought of something: What if we try to make some kind of logo for each manga? Or at least, lets say for the ones we post frequently. I tried that with Dogs: Bullets and Carnage and Zetman.
First the logo, then the teaser-pic, then the link. This way, the mangas could be kept apart better, while scrolling down. We would only have to upload those logos once, create a link-summary for all of them and use the same old link in every new post. What do you think?

i do agree that it would be more work if we also had to make the logos and i also like how things look now,even when i was only checking out MU from time to time i liked the format of the pages,so for me it is the same thing with the logos or without them.

and this things sounds like lots of work cg!? :S
i wondered about doing a more gallery style thing, with 2 pics per row, laid out. with the text centered underneath each release.
dunno. i like how we do things now!

I only read the Dogs 1 volume(i think it is a prequel to the one you uploaded) and that one was really fun and action packet,as for Mononoke i can say that the anime is pure brilliance,as for the manga i have no idea :)
Well,we should give your idea a try,CG,i have nothing against it,maybe also the manga fans who visit MU can say if they would find it helpful,or whatever they think .

yeah krummbart, iwaaki stuff is really good. different from the mainstream.
i really really liked Kiseijuu. havent had chance to get into this Tanabata yet, but looking forward to it.
yeah well, i dont want to start series specific posts full of all the releases for ONE MANGA. (unless its a feature of an exceptional one)
if we go down that route, we will become just another manga archive site like mangatraders
the blog format needs to live on!
the idea of this site as a whole is to provide updates day to day on whats coming out in our genres (mostly seinen), and give reccomendations on older series – so that our readers dont need to go on mangaupdates 20+ times a day (like we do :P), loads of scanlator's sites, irc, different forums, ftp etc to get all the releases

Tanabata no Kuni is brilliant. Once you get used to the kind of weird drawing style of that mangaka all of his stories are excellent. I really did not get what was going on in the Mononoke Manga – the tiles and speech bubbles seem so unaligned that it's hard to figure out what the situation is.
About the idea with the Logos of each series – I think it would be a good idea, when there were posts that only hold a certain ongoing series. But then you would kind of have to give up the blog system?

The Mononoke manga is trying to keep its unique style of art which is known for in the anime, however it doesn't really work in manga format and it looks very messy and confusing. Check out the anime if you're interested in good "ghost" stories(?) – or just good short storylines.

Added yet another chapter for Bloody Monday and a new chapter for Team Medical Dragon.
I tried the Mononoke manga and i can't say I am that impressed,the manga began publishing after the anime ended and it is nowhere nearly as good as the anime,a anime that had a unique art style,superb directing,excellent voice actors,interesting story arcs and the superb yet haunting atmosphere of the anime.I definitely recommend the anime.
Btw this post has already 15 different manga series so even if we have just two manga updates we should make another post,since as we saw we immediately find many more updates :)
