Funny, a week ago I didn’t know Matsumoto Taiyou,then stumbeld over “Number 5″ here and suddenly he seems to pop up everywhere^^ He has a nice, fresh style. Its very refreshing to sometimes see artwork that is different from the manga-standards

Oh man, do I love Matsumoto Taiyou. Both Black&White and Hanaotoko was amazing to read. The movie for Black&White (Tekkon Kinkreet) was really good, though I prefer how the manga ended things. Ping Pong (finished at 5 volumes) is another great manga by him.
