Well, I read Ibitsu yesterday, can’t say I was amazed, after all it’s only the first chapter, but has definitely kept my interest.
PS: I don’t remember who added a manga called “Metro Survive” a few days ago, but I have to thank that person. I really enjoyed it :)

hmm, nice update, especially that key tome although Ibitsu looks promising. TX :)
Also i think i should post more often, it’s just that most updates here tend to age relatively well; MU updates, in what i’m concerned, are like good wines, age only makes them better.

about binktopia,i am pretty sure they don’t allow their projects to be redistributed anywhere besides their own site.
i did not even notice the post has already this many releases until you mentioned it mono,guess a new post would be a good idea .

This Vinland Saga probably will be my last chapter for awhile for the series since I did in fact drop it. As much as I enjoyed Vinland Saga, I really don’t like having multiple groups working on a series, especially when one group isn’t doing something like a high quality volume re-release. It seems Binktopia did an alright job so I decided to stop but I’ll definitely pick it back up if they run into any problems or delays in the future.

Well, my projectstatus.txt on my mediafire site (http://www.mediafire.com/hox) tells it in greater detail but, as of now, I’m already working on Historie, Mirai Nikki, Noramimi, Legend of the Strongest Man Kurosawa Takemitsu Zamurai, and Sangokushi.
I’m also planning to work on some manga by Furuya Usamaru, Igarashi Daisuke, Taniguchi Jiro, as well as some other miscellaneous titles in the near future. I have A LOT of stuff on my to-translate list.

Well, I just need some pointers. Surely there must scanlations that are good enough to be equal to professional releases. I have little time and don’t want to waste it on subpar scanlations. I checked out a few releases on Mangafox and the quality was simply horrible.

don’t go to manga reading sites, most of them are terrible because they change the files to low quality jpegs and shrink the sizes.
the best groups imho are:
-mangascreener
-kotonoha
-kefi
-entropy
you can find a lot of their releases on this site.

@Brad: If it’s really that big of a problem (for something you’re getting absolutely free), you should check out older groups like Kotonoha or Mangascreener. Their quality is fantastic for the most part.

Brad: I will add etc group (http://et-caetera.net/) they are also HQ (best know for Shin Angyo Onshi (first volumes wasn’t so good, but after that they did their own scan and do very good job with lettering))

Ahem, fanboys. Try to hold back a bit. This is a manga blog for scanlators, not fanboys’ request forum. I’ve been looking for something real great to read but lately got a bit confused with the amount of mediocore series and images lately. The fact that now even GantZ got its own image makes me wonder what’s actually worth reading and what not. Any personal recommendations from you guys? I already read Because good byes are coming. The selected image doesn’t do this series justice.

they’re just cool images from each chapter that dont spoil the plot Silv. nothing to get confused about….
not much to reccomend at the moment. im rather stuck myself. the only thing i wait for and get excited about is vinland saga, and doro. and new series.
if we only posted super groundbreaking amazing stuff, we wouldnt have much of a blog at all
