Hara Kiri is the only Shintaro Kago manga i read, i heard it’s not as extreme as his other stuff, still i am not sure if i will try more of his manga.
ogure ito has no cure when it comes to the story of his manga XD

You might wanna put a warning on Dream Toy Factory. It’s pretty funny in a disgusting sort of way, but if you’re the type of person who’s capable of being offended, that manga WILL offend/disgust you.

what is there to spoil? the title of this new OP chapter spoils more than the pic i used…anyway i had even more arguments that i could use in defence of my pic and show that it does not spoil pretty much anything, but it’s late and i am tired, i deleted the pic,i will add the cover pic tomorrow.

so everyone keeps going on about how amazing OP is.
i suppose i should check it out, although i dont usually bother with shounen (except bleach & gamaran)
the style of OP doesnt appeal to me at all. it seems a little “silly”
but, cant knock it til i’ve tried it!
500+ chapters is a lot to catch up on though..!

mono: i never really recommend fighting/shounen like OP, Bleach, Naruto etc (after all everyone knows about them), while OP is a favorite of mine, i myself if i would not be up to date with it i don’t know if i would ever feel like starting a manga with 500+ chapters, so if you actually start it i recommend to read at least a few volumes and then decide if it is worth it.
btw the latest bleach chapter was just ridiculous and definitely not in a good way, i have no idea what i actually expected.

I enjoy Gamaran as well, it’s actually quite good, and violent, especially for a shounen manga.
Anyway, I’ve been trying to catch up with OP since December last year for the exact same reason(I simply wanna know what’s so awesome about it), but it’s just so friggin’ hard.
I don’t intend to persuade you not to read OP, but I should warn you, the early raws are worse than toilet paper.

I catched up with +700 chapters of JJBA last year, so it IS possible to start a long manga from the very beginning.^^ The thing ist, like Arch said, you have to like it of course. Each end has to trigger you to read “just one more chapter” ;)
OP: yeah the artwork is childish and “silly” in a way. Most people say that and many people didn’t read it cause of that at first. But after they’ve read it, nearly all said its good stuff.
IMO its the great emotions in OP, tha mangaka totally knows how to pace happiness and party, but even more sadness and really touching moments. That’s the thing about OP imo.
SBR’s chapter 59 was the epic epicness, too btw, thank you guys!
And for reasons unknown I too follow Gamaran while I shouldn’t, being a Vagabond fan in the first place ;D

It’s a good thing that Evil Genius is finishing up on Biomega. My Japanese isn’t too good and it was damn confusing to translate all the cryptic dialogue in Biomega. I can’t say I’m too confident in the work I did for Biomega.

I’m quite sure that Nihei planned for Net Sphere Engineer to be a new series, but suddenly decided that he didn’t want to expand any further on the BLAME! universe. So he moved on to BioMega instead. Kinda sad, really… It looked interesting ;_;

Like a big fan of Nihei Tsutomu I must say that both mangas were canceled…It’s a pity plus Net Sphere Engineer was a oneshot and the real continuation was Blame 2
