  4. zack Says:

Sun-ken Rock is damn badass. OH YEAH

  5. abc Says:

Never heard of Sun-ken Rock before but it sounds great. How often are Random Scanlations putting out new chapters? I would prefer to wait until the 1st volume is scanlated to start reading it but if it’s a long wait I’ll just read it right now. Thanks in advance!

  6. Archer Says:

@abc: volume 1 of Sun-ken Rock ends at ch.6, all chapters released so far were uploaded here, you can use the search function to find them or you can just visit the Random Scanlations site and download them from there.

  7. mono Says:

    added vinland and bambino

i was waiting for something exciting to actually happen in wolf guy, but got bored of waiting. has that occured yet!?

stangely, even though the story has took a strange turn in vinland, i still enjoy the slower pace of the chapters at the moment as i know yukimura will pull something good out from this twist.

  8. Archer Says:

Yay for new Vinland saga, but why must it be sooo short ):

@mono: wolf guy related, i have no idea what’s currently happening with the story, i have it on hold atm but i did promise that while i won’t be uploading the chapters as they are released i will do volume updates, still i can say that i enjoyed Akumetsu a lot more.

  9. crazyankan Says:

Vinland saga, always a pleasant surprise =)

  20. amuro Says:

Thanks for finishing Eden. I just d/led vol17 and 18. I saw in anidb there’s a v2 for ch114. Is it because it was missing page100 where its supposed to say Chapter 114 / END? If yes, can you guys please upload the v2 to mediafire or just the missing page? Tnx ^_^

  21. Hellyeah motherfucker Says:

I could kiss you all for Eden v18

  22. amuro Says:

oops i meant mangaupdates not anidb

  23. amuro Says:

nevermind… found the ch114-115 release post. Looks like there’s no page100?

  24. mono Says:

I will release another g senjou later on this week.

Always nice to see some comments, I wonder how many it would be with our old MU? Maybe double?

  26. Anethum graveolens Says:

I don’t know if I should add this link to the main post, so I’ll just post it here and let others to decide…

    Eden’s batch torrent at BakaBT >>> http://www.bakabt.com/152529-eden-its-an-endless-world.html

  29. B1 Says:

many many thanks for the big Eden release – fantastic job all round on finishing this major title. Kind of overshadows things but there’s some other great releases here too.

  30. mo|ly Says:

thanks for the conclusion of eden!

  31. Anonymous Says:

    Beautiful. Worth the wait.

Thank you for all your work.

  32. oblow20 Says:

OMG Is the final volumen…after all this time…thanks, great work I must said and now to read…xD

  33. Anonymous Says:

Just hopping by to say thanks a LOT for Eden. It was a amazing series and I’m really glad to have read it. Awesome work you guys did on it, congratulations.

    Thanks.

  34. DamnedBones Says:

Eden has finally come to an end, I’m so moved…thanks guys. T_T

  35. Koa-chan Says:

Wow. Awesome job on EDEN. I’ve been waiting for it and I just finished reading the volume.

    It’s epic.

    Thanks for the great work.
=.= Love you guys so much for this! <33

  36. verifyid Says:

    Thanks for Eden.

Would it be possible to get the covers for volume 16 and 17?

  37. verifyid Says:

sorry for the double post, but I was also wondering if there is any intention of doing vol 16 and 17 with tank scans?

Anyways thanks again for the good work and finishing a series…:D

  38. crazyankan Says:

verifyid: I don’t think we will do a tank scan release of v16,17 :/
And I don’t have the cover pages for v16 and 17.

  39. mono Says:

    il have a look later.

  40. mono Says:

for the covers i mean! :P
gonna read the whole thing from the beginning again. i loved how the story changed so much through the middle, but i thought the ending was pretty disppointing. maybe that was because Eliah did pretty much nothing in the last volume and it was all about Ennoia, or just be because we got to read the scripts before its all finished but i dunno…

  41. Red Jack Says:

Thanks for the big Eden release! There’s a few Ravages of Time releases (with major developments), that you might want to add on as well.

  42. ankedo Says:

So it’s over at last .. it’s been more 7 years since i start readin this awesome manga … thanx MU
& i hope some1 can upload the missin cover pages for prev. volumes

  43. joker999 Says:

I CANT remember whats manga name that i want see again

Its like monster but hes a guy, well bit like boy (maybe high school), He have power as BLACK, like he can take over whatever he want. Plus he got girl, took her to his dimension, that girl neck got cut – roll over on floor, but she saw her own underwear and still alive she have no idea (Woah is that my body??? AHHHH my neck is chop off).
    (Thats first eps)
Sorry if my English is REAL awesome shit.

  44. Dazed Says:

Thanks to MU for all their work on this title. This is one of my favourite mangas to read. Thanks again

  45. CGorhant Says:

    Thanks for EDEN!! :D

@joker999: Sounds like “Jack Frost”, but I’ve only read the first chapter a long time ago…

@Anethum graveolens: Yay thanks! And I’ve found some new (to me at least) Miyazaki stuff on that very site (bakabt), going to post it here then. Midhras was there too, he’s up to something ;).

  46. midhras Says:

    keke

  47. mono Says:

added dls for whole vols 16+17 as promised

  48. joker999 Says:

    @CGorhant yay! Thanks, you’re awesome!

  49. joker999 Says:

    @CGorhant sorry for ask again,

i forgot which eps, anyway that girl have school uniform and this wep (whip sword) link -> http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2009/359/2/1/Ivy_Whip_Sword_Cosplay_by_AmethystArmor.jpg

around her leg to take off then want to fight, i cant remember.
If you think there’s too many mangas for this, dont worry i’ll find it (so many manga i cant remember)

  50. DamnedBones Says:

I’ve just finished reading volume 18 and I have to agree with Mono, the ending was bit disappointing indeed, it was rather anticlimactic, I might add.
The overall experience is great nevertheless, definitely one of the best mangas I’ve ever read.

  51. mono Says:

i started reading from the beginning again last night, got to vol 7. forgot just how good it was earlier on in the story.
it really is a masterpiece, even if the ending is a bit anticlimactic, i still love this manga.
i just expected eliah to be more central to the ending, after all a huge portion of the story is about him becoming a man.

thanks to dill for making that repack torrent

  52. mono Says:

    added more sidooh

  53. mono Says:

    lol and check this:

    http://i39.tinypic.com/fx5f9h.jpg

  54. Archer Says:

Red Jack: there is already a link in this post to the latest Ravages of time chapters.

    added a couple more updates.

    mono: lol indeed
so now MU needs another project as good as Eden was and make it popular with the fans :)

  55. crazyankan Says:

    joker999: Maybe tenjou tenge?
I remember some girl with weird swords before I stop reading it.

  56. T* Says:

thanks for the end of eden guys :)

  57. Mr Phil Says:

    Ok
    for the website…
NOW this would be definitively MU 4.0
    if not 4.1
    (what you called the 3.1)
    YES !!!

And i would add at least a page about history…
with each version of this GREAT project

  58. midhras Says:

@Archer: Some suggestions? I would really like to see these finished/cont’d:

    Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
    No. 5

  59. crazyankan Says:

midhras: I think Morten and the GWR guys are working on No.5

  60. mono Says:

i would like to see Kurosagi Corpse continued too, great original manga

  61. Pares Says:

Mangs i have in mind Blade of the immortal, red eyes,

  62. Codorna Says:

I’d love to read the end of blade of the immortal, it seems that delinquent-manga stopped releasing it… damn “Editora Conrad” went bankrupt here in Brazil and blade stopped being released at number 20.

  63. DamnedBones Says:

    @Pares:

You’re Spanish, am I right? If so, this is for you ;)

    http://aranafansub.mforos.com/1028473/7687929-la-espada-del-inmortal-espanol-23-23/

  64. mono Says:

would love to see BotI finished too.

back to Eden: it really is a masterpiece! i’ve almost re-read it all, vols 1-8 are unbelievable. i especially like vol8 with the whole helena thing. awesome.

  65. silverado Says:

Yes, indeed. Maybe we should bring all previous volumes up and make a special post once we found the missing covers?

  66. Archer Says:

i also have volume 22 and 23 in spanish for BotI, downloaded them at the same place as DB provided,i have yet to read them, too bad that no one is releasing this great manga in english anymore.

also i would love to see more of Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service too. from what i know there are 10 volumes published in the US, maybe someone will scan them :)

  67. mono Says:

on eden: there is a torrent on here silv, i suppose i could re-upload ddls for vols 1-12… tbh i felt when we picked it up that was when it started going downhill :P

what are delinquent doing with boti?
i have all the raws for kurosagi…. ….

  68. silverado Says:

I just finished reading vol 16, 17 and 18. Crazyankan did a good job in typesetting although sometimes unnecessary translation notes were added, but that’s doesn’t need to be necessarily bad. Besides that I think vol 16 could be redone with little more care. The quality didn’t meet our standards but overall, I’m glad that this epic series is now finished. Compared to reading the chapters individually, reading all three volumes in one go made the ending actually really really enjoyable. One has to see a little deeper into the concept of the author. The way all strings were closed and attached neatly was very very well done for only 2 volumes. It seems a bit rushed at first, especially compared to the dragging vol 13 and slow development of vol 14 or 15. But this naturally happens if you try to condense content for what could have been otherwise 6 volumes into 2. Personally, I think that one reason for the early finish is that the author’s interest has simply shifted, away from politics, ethical conflicts and discrimination to something else. One can tell that the decision to end the series early came somewhere between vol 16 and 17. Another explanation might be his editor urging him to create a clearer plotline, since Eden’s storyline has gotten quite complex and some readers might have been lost and had to re-read the whole series multiple times. Of course sales play also a major role, especially after the financial crisis. Manga dealing with a diversity of cultural and political background are very rare. Very few political manga get more than 4 volumes and even fewer make it to the top. I know only a few manga that have done that sucessfully: Golgo13, Lone Wolf and Cub and Sanctuary. (All of them finished and available for download here on Manga Underground). The real reason isn’t known. But what I know is that the author has poured his heart into this series with hundreds of hour researching. The result could have been not clearer: reading Eden – It’s An Endless World was one of the greatest literature pleasures from my child- and adulthood. It was exactly this manga that got me hooked up on politics, economics and seinen manga overall. Exactly this manga and that’s also why I want to thank you, Hiroki Endo. I know that you or one of your editors are secretly reading this blog using google translations. Your team has my gratitude!

    silverado

  69. DamnedBones Says:

Great post Silverado, I don’t usually rate comments but you do deserve 5 stars for that one.

    @Archer:

It’s too bad indeed, I actually “read” the Spanish volumes with the help of a dictionary, but, honestly, I think I have completely ruined my own experience.
Anyway, I don’t recommend you to do the same, everything just sounds too awkward(I can’t really put it into words), you might as well wait for a miracle rather than ruining your own experience like I did.

  70. Pares Says:

    @DamnedBones:
i have printed verions up to vol 24 http://www.edicionesglenat.es/fitxa.aspx?pid=135 but i haven’t seen newer ones, strange cause i found the vol 25 raw i see on glenat web that this i the last one released i guess i got impatient too soon :), there are english releases but still at 22, i didn’t knew that web at all I only have downloaded english cause its easier to find.

btw i found that the end of eden was epic and moving i wasnt disapointed. joining the different threads and creating and epic scifi ending is a fine joob, I read the end from vol 13to18 so i had a fresh memory on different parts that helped too, btw silverado explains it better :)

  71. Apalakoo Says:

Just download Eden v17 & v18. Found out v17 missing c118. I do have c118 but page “EDEN_17_230.png” got corrupted even re-download still the same. Anybody got perfect c118 ??

  72. crazyankan Says:

Apalakoo: Different chapters name with the tanks and magazine raws.
I haven’t look at it, but it might be it?

  73. Apalakoo Says:

Yup, it might. So there would be a new update for v17 ?? or c118 ??

  74. mono Says:

what Crazy means is that the chapter numbers were different in the magazine scans than the tankobons (1 number up), so it may APPEAR like there is a chapter missing as we used mag scans for 16&17 but tank scans for 18.

im not sure if there is a chapter missing or not, i will try to check this out properly later, i dont have all the volumes on this pc.

also there are a number of release updates to add i’ll do too

  75. mono Says:

    UPDATED the post a little.

Apalakoo was right, c118 was missing from v17… i think it is missing from the torrent which i then re-uploaded…

i corrected all the v17 links on the site, including the main release page. everything should be in order now and fully up to date :D

here is chapter 118 on it’s own: http://www.mediafire.com/?egqmcmzymhr

this post turned out pretty epic, and we got a good few comments in the end! :D

  76. crazyankan Says:

    Have started to read Kenji.
Great so far. No extreme “destroy the whole world” punches.
    Just some “real” martial arts.
And I like the oldschool artwork.

  77. Archer Says:

Damn this post is long, i have some updates but i will add them once we have made a new post.

so crazy likes Kenji too, i guess i will start it once they finish scanlating it, right now i more into something like Baki than Kenji :)
also is started Ubel blatt again, it’s not that bad if you can overlook the shota main character and the occasional angst.

  78. mono Says:

yes! kenji is awesome. it is realistic martial arts, and the philosophical/life/coming-of-age elements are great too

there are 10 volumes left, you may bw waiting a while archer! although the team are going pretty fast.

  79. silverado Says:

Please start using unique post titles that actually relate to the content and are – I repeat – UNIQUE. To write THIS WEEKS UPDATE in every damn post kinda annoys me as the admin of the site.

  80. Archer Says:

the original title i used for this post was unique imo, but since we had the eden and g senjou releases it got changed since it would have been to long i guess and that happens form time to time. Could our readers actually relate the title i used to the content of the post? i have no idea, anyway while i do understand that more unique titles should be used i have no idea what kind of title is the one that is also a descriptive and a unique title for yet another of out usual updates posts, but that’s just me.
about this posts current title, when i see it i understand that this post contains a g senjou release + (if i am regular visitor of the blog) i understand that it contains the most recent updates of the manga we use to upload here. as for our special posts i think they most definitely have both a descriptive and unique title.

anyway, only replied about this since i made this post, but oh well…

  81. mono Says:

tbh i agree with you archer.
i dont see how we can think up unique names for posts that are just the usual updates, and whenever something special is involved we put an appropriate title…

  82. silverado Says:

How difficult can it be to think up distinguishable topics? The reader needs leads to browse through old posts.

  83. mono Says:

Obviously more difficult than you think. How about an example of what you find so obvious?
90% of our posts are just updates on regular manga. All I can think of is dating those kind of posts eg “end of april updates”
whenever we release something, we add the chapter number to the title too, Or if its a special post, its named appropriately.
If someone is looking for something specific, they can use the search..

  84. Archer Says:

i guess we could find out quite easy if our visitors are happy with our titles, we can just ask them. now speaking as a former visitor that i was, i never cared about the titles and i don’t think our current visitors care that much either.

i already told my arguments once i am not gonna repeat myself, so nothing more to add.

  85. Japp Says:

damn that was great, koko no hito is tha bomb :) thanks

  86. p Says:

thanks for hikari no machi chapter 05 –

can anyone point me in the direction of hikari no machi chapter 4?
I have been googling but can’t find any links, mediafire or otherwise.
