never expected a mature manga to have the same output as naruto. as long as he can maintain the level of quality I don’t care how long he takes.

I have to agree with you, especially considering how good it was in the past.
The story has been dragging on for ages and, as I said once, Berserk is simply not as exciting to read as it used to be. But despite all this, I am still quite fond of Berserk…

jimbo = i put MS’ releases cos it was easiest. also their quality and speed is pretty good.
qwaszx /damned = i agree with you. its gone boring.
js = i honestly think Miura cant be bothered with it any more. the quality is ok yeah, but that doesnt make up for the the plot. which has just gone stagnant.
im sick of waiting ages for another chapter where all that happens is those stupid toothed-vaginas-on-tentacle things appear again.
forgive me, but i’m not reading it anymore.

I agree i liked Berserk a lot, but now its seems to idle to infinity nothing happens to the main plot, dam a great manga deserves a decent end.

I don’t believe it for a second when people say they won’t read it, it usually just means they’ll pick it up after a few chapters had passed.
It’s only been a few chapters since the start of the new arc, do people really expect another huge leap? Honestly the big killer of pacing is Miura’s own output, not the story, and we don’t rightly know why Miura’s been so much slower than before, it could just be that the story has gotten less straightforward, and he’s been doing a lot of research and staging work to keep the plot progression fresh.
Miura’s been putting in the work on Berserk for 20 years, I’m not gonna fret over a few chapters.

@Jimbo – Re: Claymore, Well MiB haven’t released anything past C103 in English since May, FrankyHouse have nothing since c102 (and no mention of it being dropped but it’s been a few months…) TheFollenAngel (who FH was using as translator) only scanlated C103, but mentioned that JP raws were hard to come by. Binktopia have their own source of raws, and given that they plaster watermarks all over everything, I doubt they’ll allow any access to them. I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand reading manga that is defaced by watermarks in the middle of every page, so I’m stuck at Ch103, hoping raws show up again soon for others to use.
