Very nice post and that site you provided CG, is great. Also, I am probably gonna try The Five Star Stories manga, it sound quite interesting.
btw I just found out that Tenjou tenge is ending on August 19th and supposedly, Shigurui will also end(or is already finished?) very soon.

@Jimbo: Book 11 part 1 is translated, I made it more clear now. Still, you’re right.
Added another picture so that nobody gets the idea FSS is about fashion^^ To be frank, I like the mecha design (very knightly, very unlike Gundam), but the universe is so huge and complex… You have to battle your way through if you read every single explanation.

Re- Bebop – I’m the same with that series – I start thinking ‘maybe it wasn’t quite as good as I thought’ so I go rewatch it every 2 or 3 years, and immediately think ‘My God, this is brilliant!’ all over again. Incredible piece of work, with incredible music.

@Torben: lolwut? I’m pretty sure if publishers cared that much about money they wouldn’t be in a dying industry. Some of them(mostly the good ones like Vertical) are barely surviving.

I wouldn’t mind buying things legally if it was not because of censorship, lazy publisher and corrupt customs. It’s damn hard to bring in import stuff here without bribery.

The only manga I read online are OP and Naruto, I used to read Bleach too but for some months it’s become incredibly bad, not that bleach was ever that good but it amused me at least, I could make fun of how ridiculous it is. Anyway, so back to online reading sites I can’t say I really care that much, I wanna see if some of the important downloading sites will be closed, mangatraders, the-evel-empire and so on.

I myself have imported several mangas in the past such as Berserk, BoTI, Shaman Warrior(aka Dangu), MPD Psycho(one of its several volumes ended costing me €20, which is completely unacceptable) and, more recently, I imported What A Wonderful World by Asano Inio, and I never had any problems whatsoever.
I do agree with your statement about certain publishers being lazy though, Dark Horse comes to mind…
Anyway, in my opinion, the biggest problem here is that each volume usually costs around €10/15, which is simply too much for a single volume.

the mainstream is not exactly taht interesting at all…
but it brings the young people to seinem…
so, in a sense, there are very useful.
just sad, that so many people want to scanlate them, when worthy stuff is being left aside
